Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient, and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all patients presenting for services. The BHC completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program, documents provided services, coordinates discharges, and works with families or other significant others to facilitate care.

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health. Master’s Degree is preferred but not required. Preference is given to a Master’s Degree in a related field and/or license at the associate level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor.

1–3 years of full‑time health‑care related work experience that provides adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
