Impact

Deliver safe, high-quality patient care by supporting surgeons during operative procedures as a Certified Surgical Technologist in fast-paced surgical settings.

Prepare and maintain a sterile operating suite with appropriate instruments, supplies, and sterile solutions to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.

Assist with patient positioning, draping, and direct patient care while coordinating closely with the interdisciplinary team throughout each procedure.

Maintain accurate instrument counts, anticipate surgeon needs, and uphold safety standards to prevent complications and support efficient operating room performance as a Certified Surgical Technologist.

Minimum Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.

One or more of the following required:

Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
