How You'll Contribute
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

What We're Looking For
Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
License: Current RN licensed in KY; new graduates may work under a KY provisional license for up to 6 months pending RN license.
If an RN license is not earned within 6 months, the provisional licensee must cease practicing in a licensed nursing position.
Certifications: BCLS; ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of hire.
