
Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician will support the Unified Strategic Testing Organization within the Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platform (AMTPP). This role is responsible for executing laboratory activities that advance product development and provide customer support across multiple business groups. The position will focus primarily on laboratory testing activities.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing complex laboratory tests with minimal supervision.
Documenting test results with accuracy and communicating findings to requestors.
Operating a range of test equipment, including electro‑mechanical test frames, analytical instruments, and advanced test systems.
Weighing, mixing, and preparing chemicals and raw materials for formulation screening.
Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or testing environment
Associate degree or two‑year technical degree (or higher) from an accredited institution
Experience operating testing equipment
Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including external partners
Ability to communicate test results and observations clearly and consistently
Familiarity with testing systems and industry standards for material durability and performance
Strong attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skill
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
