Phlebotomist - Per Diem

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Northampton, MA.

Work Schedule: As needed on Saturdays, 8:00 am –12:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.

Process billing information and collect payments when required.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.

Preferred Qualifications

Current or previous LabCorp experience.

Three or more months experience as a phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards

Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Pay Range

$21.00 – $27.00 per hour.

Benefits
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees with a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
