Labcorp Phlebotomist – Cumberland, ME
Work Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM, 2 hours/day, 7 days/week.
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred Qualifications
Current or previous LabCorp experience.
1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Additional Job Standards
Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency if no work experience.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
Pay Range
$18.00 – $26.00 per hour.
