Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in a long‑term care / skilled nursing facility (SNF)
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor, assess, and report changes in resident condition
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (EMR)
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
Support care plan implementation and resident‑directed care goals, including geriatric nursing care
Ensure compliance with Maine Nurse Practice Act, federal regulations, and facility policies
Promote a safe, respectful, and home‑like environment for residents
Qualifications
Current State of Maine LPN license (required)
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
1+ years of experience preferred in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or acute care
New LPN graduates welcome; structured onboarding and support provided
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and medication administration skills
Commitment to high‑quality geriatric nursing and senior care
Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
