$22 an hour-Mon-Fri +weekends
The assembler position works on the electrical and mechanical assembly and final integration of products. This position is for an experienced individual with 2+ years of experience building assemblies and sub‑assemblies and wiring of components.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Assemble products to completion following electrical drawings and schematics
Read/interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings
Work independently and follow a schedule
Participate in shop cleanup activities
Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules
Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned
Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System
Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
Maintain awareness of and compliance with environmental, safety policies and regulations and uphold high‑quality standards
Job Requirements
Ability to understand assembly prints
Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts
Experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components and wiring
Advanced knowledge and working experience of handheld power tools/drills up to highest torque 65 in‑lbs
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle or manipulate objects, tools, keyboards or controls
Reach with hands and arms; talk or hear
Occasionally required to walk or sit; may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
