Process Development Technician
JCW Group, Minneapolis, MN, United States
Manufacturing Technician | Medical Device | Onsite
A medical device company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join its engineering team and take on day-to-day technical activities across multiple active development and production projects. This is a floor-level role working directly alongside engineers — not a pure assembly position — ideal for someone with a broad technical mindset who is comfortable moving between builds, data collection, documentation, and project meetings in a fast‑paced cleanroom environment.
This is a contract to hire position.
Responsibilities
Collect data, run test parts, perform pull tests, and qualify parts on the floor across multiple concurrent engineering projects, attending project meetings to help assess and distribute workload alongside the engineering team
Support builds and equipment management in a cleanroom environment, including reflow processes and catheter component assembly, while maintaining accurate documentation and completing change order activities in accordance with GDP standards
Work collaboratively with operators and engineers across projects, adapting to shifting priorities and contributing a hands‑on troubleshooting mindset to resolve issues and move work forward
Qualifications
Cleanroom build experience with a solid understanding of controlled environment protocols and catheter or medical device assembly
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to run measurements, interpret results, and follow multi‑step manufacturing procedures accurately and independently
Strong documentation habits and GDP awareness — candidates must understand why accuracy in travelers, change orders, and data collection matters in a regulated environment
