Job Opportunity
CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Starting Pay:
Competitive rates up to $21 per hour, depending on shift
Open Positions
7 a.m.–3 p.m.; 32 hours
3 p.m.–11 p.m.; 16 hours
Differentials Offered
Shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
Additional shift differential: extra $5.00 per hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours
Responsibilities
Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking, and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. A C.N.A. documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed, including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measuring and recording temperature, weight, pulse, and respiration. Observes and reports any skin breakdowns or changes in resident condition. Reports accidents or injuries immediately. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Qualifications
Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
No history of patient or resident abuse as per State Registry.
Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward residents and their support networks.
Additional Expectations:
Per diem staff are expected to fulfill two weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
