Holy Cross Hospital is a full-service, not‑for‑profit Catholic teaching hospital in Fort Lauderdale, operating in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy. We are the only not‑for‑profit Catholic hospital in Broward and Palm Beach counties. The 557‑bed facility offers progressive inpatient, outpatient, and community outreach services and clinical research trials. We are committed to providing compassionate and holistic person‑centered care.

Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse – PER DIEM (Weekdays).

This is a part‑time, per‑diem position with no benefits.

Responsibilities
We are looking for extraordinary nurses who are strong patient advocates and have at least one to two years of OR experience. Ideal candidates will have two to three years of scrubbing or circulating experience in a busy OR. Demonstrated assessment, evaluation, and technical skills gained from scrubbing in a variety of complex surgical procedures in various specialties.

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited (ACEN/CCNE) school of nursing.

Experience & Skills

At least one (2) years of OR experience in an acute care setting.

Orthopedic and ortho‑spine experience highly preferred.

Licensure / Certification

Florida RN license

BLS from AHA

ACLS

CNOR preferred
