L&D RN (Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse)

We are seeking a L&D RN (Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse) for a 13-week assignment in Lexington, Nebraska. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced, compassionate nurse who is comfortable working night shifts and providing high-quality care in a labor and delivery setting.

Position Details

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Assist with deliveries and support physicians and the care team during procedures
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care
• Must be able to meet all compliance requirements prior to assignment
