Responsibilities
Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
Perform triage and NSTs (non-stress tests) to monitor fetal well-being
Serve as the 2nd nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients
Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other team members to ensure patient-centered care
Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Must be labor-trained
Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
Ability to work in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit
