EMDR Therapist – Part Time
Location:
High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA
Schedule:
Approximately 20 hours per week; flexible hours with some evening availability preferred
Compensation:

Position Overview
The
EMDR Therapist
provides trauma‑informed clinical services to clients in our outpatient programs. The primary focus is individual therapy utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other evidence‑based modalities to support clients experiencing trauma‑related and other mental health concerns. The therapist also facilitates occasional group therapy sessions and collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Responsibilities
Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing EMDR and other evidence‑based approaches when clinically appropriate
Maintain an individual outpatient caseload focused on trauma‑informed treatment
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, and recovery‑oriented topics
Complete intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level‑of‑care recommendations as needed
Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and clinical needs
Collaborate with referral sources, families (when appropriate), and internal clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with program and regulatory standards
Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
Required
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
Completion of a clinically focused internship or practicum
Experience providing individual therapy in a behavioral health setting
Preferred
EMDR training or certification preferred
Experience working with trauma‑related disorders
Experience working in PHP, IOP, or other structured outpatient behavioral health programs
