Job Description
We are seeking a fully-licensed mental health therapist to join our team as a W2 commission employee. The ideal candidate must have experience working with trauma and PTSD, providing therapy to couples and families who present with trauma and may need foundational skills/tools. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and collaborate with a supportive team of therapists.
Responsibilities
Conducting in-person couples/families and (optional) group therapy sessions
Developing and implementing treatment plans
Maintaining accurate and timely client records and progress notes in Simple Practice for insurance purposes
Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly
Responding to client inquiries within one business day
Scheduling your sessions and maintaining scheduling of your active clients
Providing weekly tracking of client hours
Collaborating with other therapists and professionals as needed
Administrative support to handle billing, new client communications, and forms
Legal support to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards, including up-to-date client forms

Qualifications
Fully licensed LPC/LMFT in Colorado
Individual malpractice/liability insurance
Experience working with clients experiencing complex trauma and PTSD, as well as willingness to learn new skills in this area (CSATs and CPTTs encouraged to apply!)
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Culturally attuned and sensitive
Practices to the highest ethical standards and follows the APA Code of Ethics
Solid understanding of current research and best practices
Ability to properly use approaches with clients including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Approaches, Emotionally Focused Approaches, and other Systems approaches as appropriate
Proficient computer skills, including using Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Calendar, and Simple Practice EHR for scheduling and progress notes
Ability to contribute mental health-focused blogs in your areas of expertise for the ECS website to contribute to marketing yourself and the practice
Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
