Overview
We are seeking a
Cardiac Care Nurse Manager , sometimes referred to as a CCU Nurse Manager or Clinical Nursing Manager. The Cardiac Care Nurse Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of our CCU nursing unit, which typically cares for patients recovering from various surgeries or managing medical conditions. Their role combines clinical leadership, staff management, and administrative duties to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Manage Nursing Staff: recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate nurses and support staff on the unit, fostering professional development and maintaining a positive work environment
Oversee Patient Care: ensure nursing care plans are effectively implemented, patient safety standards are met, and care is coordinated with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Operational Leadership: monitor unit workflow, patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to maintain efficient operations and optimal patient outcomes
Budget and Resource Management: manage the unit’s budget, supplies, and equipment to support patient care needs while controlling costs
Quality Improvement: implement and monitor quality assurance programs, comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards, and participate in performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
