We\'re seeking a highly motivated EMT to join our Emergency Department (ED) team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is pivotal in delivering immediate medical care alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment. The EMT will provide patient care, support medical staff, and contribute to an efficiently operating emergency room. No ambulance work is required for this position.

Responsibilities
Assist with patient triage and assessment in the ED.
Administer basic life support (BLS) and emergency care procedures as required.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any significant changes in patient condition to nursing staff and physicians.
Prepare and maintain patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Support the team in maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized work environment.
Participate in patient transport within the hospital under the supervision of medical staff.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to execute care plans effectively.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent or related experience required.
Basic EMT training or ER experience required.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Facility Specific Requirements
Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Current PALS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Certified/Licensed EMT by the state-certifying agency/entity required.
