Overview
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to support clinical and administrative tasks in our orthopedic clinic. Medical Assistants will record vital signs, assist with procedures, update patient records, coordinate appointments, and work under the supervision of physicians and nurses in a fast‑paced environment to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations.
Schedule & Employment
Shift: Days (No Weekends). Employment Type: Full Time. Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Location: Providence Medical Group – Bonner Springs, KS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome patients and prepare them for exams and procedures, ensuring a warm and professional environment.
Accurately record patient information, medical histories and vital signs in electronic health records (EHR).
Assist in collecting and processing specimens for laboratory analysis as needed.
Provide patients with educational information regarding procedures, treatments and preventative care.
Help manage appointments, follow-up calls and patient communications efficiently.
Be responsible for prior authorization and checking benefit information prior to any procedure.
Provide patients with detailed information regarding test results.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists or have one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
Current BLS certification on hire and maintained.
Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization.
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus
1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred.
