Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Topeka, Kansas.
Responsibilities
Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy support staff
Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines
Understand and comply with the respective state's PT board rules and regulations
Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
Understand adaptive equipment
Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify it as indicated based on the patient’s condition
Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
Requirements
Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply
Must have BLS and state-specific licensing
Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods, and be able to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Other certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
