Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Fairburn, Georgia.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patient condition and develop a plan of care for a variety of populations in the acute care setting.
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create a plan of care; modify as indicated based on patient condition.
Use Medical Center computer systems and provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Active physical therapy license in the respective state; BLS required.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend/stoop as needed.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
