Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of experience/training to achieve comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Job Summary
Provides technical lab support for the Center for Personalized Diagnostics, contributing to experimental design, assay development, and data generation using high-throughput protein array technologies. Responsible for performing molecular biology and immunoassay techniques, supporting platform optimization, analyzing data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Essential Duties
Operate basic laboratory equipment and prepare biological buffers, solutions, and reagents following standard procedures.
Perform general molecular biology tasks such as PCR, cloning, and DNA preparation.
Conduct immunoassays, including western blot, ELISA, and protein arrays.
Perform mammalian cell culture.
Process samples with a liquid handling system.
Perform protein expression and purification.
Desired Qualifications
Previous experience working with proteins.
Previous knowledge of different immunoassays.
Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
Working Environment
Regular activities require managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, resolving conflicts, and effective communication within a team.
Work performed in a controlled office setting and laboratory with extended periods of stationary work and moderate distance movement.
Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
May require wearing personal protective equipment such as lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, closed‑toe shoes, and respirator.
