Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend
Job Summary
Works with and under a Registered Nurse (RN) to help care for patients. Supports patient comfort, safety, and daily needs.
Key Duties
Help patients with bathing, eating, walking, and personal care
Take and record vital signs
Answer call lights and check on patients often
Watch for changes in patient condition and report to the nurse
Help with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
Collect and transport lab specimens
Keep patient rooms and care areas clean and stocked
Follow safety, infection control, and privacy rules
Be kind and respectful to patients, families, and coworkers
Requirements
Previous healthcare experience preferred
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to stand and move during the shift
