Expanded Function Dental Assistant (Full-Time) - $21-$23/hr – Monday-Thursday
Lawhead Family Dentistry is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and confident in performing expanded functions while delivering excellent patient care.
Pay
$21 - $23 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Enjoy a consistent schedule with no weekends.
Location
Muscatine, IA – In‑person position
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures
Perform EF1 duties in accordance with state guidelines
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Take dental radiographs
Provide patient education and ensure a positive experience
Maintain accurate and organized patient records
Follow all infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
Iowa EF1 certification minimum (required)
Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor
Strong communication and multitasking skills
X‑ray certification (required)
