Overview
2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Field Service Representative to join our team representing leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you’ll execute a wide range of in-store tasks, including:
Installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps
Performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs
Following planograms and client‑specific directives
You’ll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly (within 24 hours) to communications from field services management.
Maintain accurate availability updates.
Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
Complete required forms, images, and surveys before leaving the job site.
Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures function fully.
Participate in early‑morning installations and projects involving teams of two or more.
Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
Assist teammates as needed to achieve team success.
Adhere to timelines for accurate time‑card submission and report anomalies daily.
Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Participate in training and certification programs.
Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
Scheduling & Planning
Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends and early mornings.
Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
Project Execution
Follow all directives provided and complete tasks fully and completely.
Collaborate with the shared‑services team to achieve goals and drive operational efficiencies.
Relationship Development
Build and maintain strong relationships within the shared‑services team, local/regional markets, clients, retailers, and stakeholders.
Foster collaboration and communication across internal teams and field representatives.
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Work
Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership while representing the company.
Set a high standard for behavior, fostering a positive work environment with transparent, respectful communication.
Work across all aspects of the company to ensure alignment and operational success.
Customer & Client Satisfaction
Ensure customer and client satisfaction is met and continually improved according to field KPIs.
Provide and receive feedback to enhance service.
Qualifications
Age / Eligibility:
Must be 18 or older. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Availability:
Flexible Monday‑Friday; weekend, holiday, early‑morning, and late‑night availability as needed. Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork every 30 days.
Physical Abilities:
Climb a ladder up to 10 feet. Lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, grasp, and reach overhead.
Adaptability:
Adjust to changing tasks and work environments.
Communication Skills:
Communicate via phone, text, email; use a smartphone for clock‑in/out, photo upload, and apps.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Preferred:
Installation and merchandising experience; proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to follow planogram directives.
Technology:
Own Android or Apple mobile device; navigate communication platforms independently.
Training:
Complete all training assignments within designated timeframes; collaborate autonomously.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; willing to travel up to 90 miles per assignment.
Leadership & Communication:
Strong leadership, judgement, problem‑solving, time‑management, and reporting skills.
