Senior Cardiac Sonographer - Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center
Location: Baltimore, MD 21224.

Schedule: PRN (as needed), Day Shift (Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00 or 8:30-5:00). Some Saturday coverage.
Employment type: Casual / On Call.
Responsibilities
Perform an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies, including transthoracic, exercise, and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms.
Provide education and clinical instruction to cardiac sonography students and cardiology fellows.
Access and correlate patient's medical history and provide proper documentation.
Qualifications
Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEPP) - accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
BS in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCS) by Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI).
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred, but not required.
Two (2) years of cardiac experience in a hospital setting.
Compensation
Base pay: $57.00/hour. Compensation commensurate with equity and experience.
