Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
Coverage Needed: 3 weekends per month

Job Description:

We are seeking a Locum NP or PA to support the Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Lebanon, PA. This role provides weekend coverage for urgent and semi-urgent cardiac surgery patients, including ICU management, post-op care, and consultation with the attending surgeon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour weekend coverage for cardiac surgery patients
• Perform rounding, urgent consults, and post-op follow-up (average 4 hours/day)
• Assist with procedures such as vein harvesting
• Collaborate with attending surgeons, ICU staff, and other APPs
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Coordinate patient care from cath lab to surgery and ICU to discharge
