Coverage Needed
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Day, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
- On Call Requirements: Night & Weekend call on a rotating basis
Clinical Details
- Practice Setting: Inpatient/Call/Outpatient/Clinic
- Call Ratio: 1:6
- Average Number of Clinic Patients Per Day: 10
- Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: 12-15
- Number of Cardiologists in Group: 1
- Other Cardiologists will be Present
- Supervision Required: Yes, 4 APCs
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult/Geriatric
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Procedures Required: Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Requirements
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified (this is for Advanced Heart Failure, the provider will not perform any invasive procedures)
- ACLS Certification
- AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience
- Local Providers - Highly Preferred
- DEA License
- Active VA License or IMLC LOQ in hand
- Temporary Privileges Available (must have a clean background)
- Self-Query NPDB Report (within 30 days)
