Practice Specifics

100% Interventional Radiology (IR) collegial practice

2 dedicated Angio suites, one with CT Fluoro, installed in 2023

Access to two biplane Angio suites in the same procedural area

Level I Trauma Center

Average daily caseload of 6–10 procedures per provider

Support staff: two full-time Physician Assistants, dedicated IR nursing, VIR‑certified technologists, and administrative support

IR procedure scope: Interventional Oncology (embolization, Y90, ablation), US and CT biopsies and drains, UFE, PAE, venous access, dialysis access maintenance, vertebral augmentation

Call schedule: 1:3

Requirements

Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Radiology

Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Radiology

Location

State‑of‑the‑art St. Mary’s Medical Center, opened in 2023

Duluth, MN – a city on the shores of Lake Superior with parks, trails, and an international airport; 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul

Compensation

$615,536 base salary; additional compensation may be received in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based incentives
