Float Pool RN – Allen County Regional Hospital & Anderson County Hospital
Role Overview
Float Pool RN who functions as both a bedside nurse and clinical resource nurse, demonstrating competency across all assigned areas to support Med Surg, ED, and Long Term Care units during day and night shifts.
Shift & Scheduling
Full time nights (6:45 p‑7:15 a). Must work 5 weekend shifts within a 6‑week period.
Responsibilities
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Perform patient care, delegate tasks, and supervise patient care staff.
Coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients and consult with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
Demonstrate proficiency and comply with policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience: Less than 1 year (entry level).
Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Registered Nurse – Various credentials.
Associate Degree in Nursing.
Float differential is offered on top of base pay.
