About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join its executive leadership team. The CMO will be a key physician executive, responsible for driving clinical excellence, care delivery, and fostering a unified physician community. This role demands a collaborative, relational, and growth-minded physician leader with a strong background in developing clinical programs, optimizing medical staff services, and expanding graduate medical education offerings. The successful candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare and will work to establish trusting relationships and common ground with employees and providers. The CMO will also be instrumental in achieving the company's goals to optimize culture, quality, safety, and patient experience through effective strategies that strengthen medical staff partnership and engagement.
Candidates for the CMO position at the company must have a medical degree (MD/DO) and be Board Certified, with a postgraduate medical education from an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program. Previous experience in a senior clinical leadership role, such as Vice President of Medical Affairs, CMO, or Medical Group leader, is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, clinical credibility, and a deep understanding of the intersection of clinical operations, graduate medical education, quality, patient experience, safety, and the healthcare business. The role requires a leader who can navigate a multi-site health system and is committed to the values of trust, accountability, and close partnerships in the pursuit of high-reliability, high-quality, safe, accessible, and cost-effective care.
