
Nursing Staff Scheduler - CNA Required

Job Overview
Join our award winning team at WellBridge of Brighton. The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring adequate nursing staffing across all shifts based on budget and census information to meet the needs of the residents. This position requires a current CNA certification. We are located less than one mile off I‑75, just outside Flint and Pontiac.
Schedule and Hours
8‑hour shifts
Full time
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and post daily and bi‑weekly staffing schedules.
Consult with nursing department staff and supervisors to ensure appropriate staffing levels on all shifts and monitor overtime.
Manage the call‑in process and fill open shifts as needed.
Maintain complete electronic staffing schedules and run analytical and ad‑hoc reports as requested.
Collaborate with the Administrator and Human Resources on staffing levels, open positions, and staffing ratios related to resident census requirements.
Compensation
Negotiable wages with yearly increases.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field a plus.
Completed an approved nurse aide training program with a current certification from the State of Michigan – current CNA certification required.
At least 1 year of scheduling experience in a long‑term care, health care, or similar working environment.
Strong computer skills and experience with databases, HRIS, and payroll systems preferred.
Critical thinking, sound decision‑making skills, strong math skills, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow‑up skills.
Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
