Overview
Radiology Tech travel assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. Start June 1, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,421–$2,657 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is a 5x8 day schedule. Setting: LTC – Assisted Living Facility.
Responsibilities
Perform radiology imaging and fluoroscopy to support diagnostic evaluation; adjust exposure factors and properly position patients per ALARA guidelines.
Operate radiology equipment and software; produce, process, and archive high-quality images; communicate findings to the radiologist as appropriate.
Prepare and administer contrast materials when needed; assist with special procedures and examinations; may specialize in image production for specific anatomy such as chest, GI tract, or orthopedic imaging.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy; follow infection control and safety protocols; maintain accurate documentation and image labeling.
Collaborate with radiology team and radiologists; participate in cross-training to meet department policy requirements; adhere to all facility policies.
Requirements
ARRT certification in radiography or registry-eligible (per job notes).
Cross-training in additional radiology modalities per department policy.
Colorado CAPS check required.
State licensure for radiography may be required or may not be, depending on regulations; prepare to meet whichever applies to the assignment state.
Ability to work in a rural long-term care/assisted living setting and to follow safety and ALARA guidelines.
Willingness to fulfill a 5x8 day-shift schedule and the assigned travel rotation.
