Position Summary
Assures that all admission, discharge and transfer functions interface to the command/FMS data systems. Ensures adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed Responsibilities
LOG - Maintain canceled admission log, coordinating with UR and the Business Office; inform the Business Office of incorrect or duplicate accounts that have been issued
REPORTS - Complete the AM census and VIP list for distribution to administration
SYSTEMS MONITORING - Monitor problems with the ACTION system and report same to DP
TRAINING - Train staff on the use of Harmony
CENSUS - Coordinate with budget department and area directors to keep census information current
REPORTS - Create and modify reports on SMS software, i.e., daily census, VIP list, OOCI log
AUDIT - Develop, oversee and conduct various routine and special audits, research and correct data to maintain integrity of programs

High School or GED Equivalent
