Locums - Jackson, Ohio, Emergency Medicine Opening (IMLC Welcome)

Clinical Role:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Ongoing availability

  • Minimum of 5 shifts per month required; ideally 8-10 shifts

  • Ongoing coverage commitment: 12+ months

  • 12-hour shifts (schedule flexible based on ED needs)

  • Night and weekend coverage may be required

Practice Setting:

  • Emergency Department with fast track

  • 11-bed hospital

  • EMR: Allscripts/Paragon

  • Provider will oversee APPs

  • ED physicians responsible for writing admission orders

  • Deliveries are sent directly to Labor & Delivery

  • Access to consulting specialties: Radiology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Hematology/Oncology

Patient Volume:

  • Annual ED volume: 18,527 visits

  • Average per provider per shift: 15-20 patients

  • Percent of hospital admissions from ED: 17%

  • Percent of ED patients admitted per day: 17%
