Certified Medical Assistant
in

Position Type : 4-month contract (with potential for extension or full‑time offer)
Schedule : One day per week, Fridays, 8am to 6pm
Pay : $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities
Open and close the facility daily, including turning lights on/off, keeping common areas clean and tidy, and securing the office.
Greeting examinees, visitors, and guests; verify identity as required, determining purpose of visit, and directs or escorts them appropriately.
Conduct examinee interviews, measure vital signs, and document findings.
Perform phlebotomy and diagnostic testing (e.g., EKGs, PFTs, ABI Testing).
Notify staff of examinee arrival and support providers during exams when requested (e.g., chaperoning).
Clean and sanitize common areas, including reception, kitchen, and exam rooms. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Dust furniture, surfaces, and windows. Empty trash and recycling bins. Clean and restock restrooms with supplies like toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
Complete monthly facility compliance walk‑through, documenting and communicating any irregularities to MRG Manager.
Manage inventory and compliance logs (daily, monthly, yearly).
Maintain office supply inventory and place orders through MRG management as needed.
Assist practitioners with exams and emergency response support.
Maintain exam room cleanliness and infection control standards.
Answer phones, confirm scheduled appointments, and manage examinee flow.
Respond to visitor inquiries or refer them to appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with clinical and other team members.
Support service animal accommodations and legal compliance.
Participate in ongoing training and quality review processes as required.
Completes other duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Medical Assisting or graduation from an accredited vocational program.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), unrestricted and in good standing.
Phlebotomy certification (if required by state).
Active/current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in primary care, occupational health, or physical medicine preferred. Prior experience conducting assessments or disability evaluations is a plus.
