Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Process Technician responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production and efficient operations. This role works closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to maintain product standards and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Perform machine setup, changeovers (tear-down), and start-ups for injection molding processes
Troubleshoot molding defects and process issues to maintain product quality
Monitor and adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.)
Ensure molded parts meet quality standards and production requirements
Conduct mold validations and support new product launches
Maintain proper handling and traceability of raw materials
Perform basic equipment maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams
Document process settings, quality checks, and production data
Work with quality and manufacturing teams on corrective actions and improvements
Follow all safety, housekeeping, and operating procedures
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of injection molding experience
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Experience with process control and quality monitoring
Basic knowledge of plastics/resins and molding parameters
Good communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
Experience in automotive manufacturing (interior components )
Knowledge of Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methods
Experience with mold validation and process optimization
Work Environment
Fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requires flexibility for overtime, weekends, and early start-ups
Hands-on role working closely with machines and production teams
