Job Description
Promise Point Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Direct Care Supervisor to lead and support our Direct Care Staff within our Youth Placement Center. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, structured, and therapeutic care for youth while overseeing daily staff operations.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about youth development, team management, and maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities
Supervise, coach, and support Direct Care Staff during assigned shifts
Ensure proper staff-to-youth ratios are maintained at all times
Monitor daily operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Provide guidance in crisis situations and behavioral interventions
Review and approve documentation (incident reports, shift notes, logs)
Assist with staff scheduling, call-offs, and shift coverage
Train and onboard new Direct Care Staff
Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth
Communicate effectively with leadership regarding program needs
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license (required)
CPR Certification (required or willing to obtain)
Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth or in residential care
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills
Ability to work in high‑stress situations and make sound decisions
Must pass background check and drug screening
Schedule
Full‑time position
Day, Evening, or Overnight supervisory shifts
Weekends and holidays may be required
