Position Summary
Project Manager responsible for Safety, Quality, Planning, Scheduling, Budget, Change Management, and all on‑site construction activities. This position requires close coordination with the construction team, contractors, suppliers, and others on site in Boone, IA.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a culture of safety on the job site with all direct team members, contractors, and sub‑contractors.
Establish and manage a quality program for the project including quality hold points during construction and sign‑off criteria.
Coordinate work between contractors, suppliers, and others.
Prepare and maintain a detailed construction schedule.
Track all invoices, payments, change orders, and back charges.
Manage project communications, transmittals, and routine project reporting.
Ensure all Requests for Information are answered in a timely manner.
Evaluate and mitigate risks to project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
Act as primary contact with the customer.
Work overtime as required and maintain punctual attendance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum of 7 years of experience with industrial project management.
Familiarity with Construction Safety and OSHA requirements.
Detail‑oriented and experienced with Project Management best practices.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and P6 (or similar scheduling software).
Physical Demands
Overtime required to meet deadlines.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally.
Requires long periods of sitting.
Requires travel to off‑site jobs.
All listed physical demands are essential functions.
