Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for Safety, Quality, Planning, Scheduling, Budget, Change Management, and all on-site Construction activities. This position requires close coordination with the construction team, contractors, suppliers, and the owner’s representatives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Maintain a culture of Safety on the job site with all direct team members, contractors, and sub-contractors.

Establish and manage a quality program for the project, including quality hold points during construction and sign-off criteria.

Coordinate work between contractors, suppliers, and the owners team.

Prepare and maintain a detailed construction schedule.

Track all invoices, payments, change orders, and back charges.

Manage project communications, transmittals, and routine project reporting.

Ensure all Requests for Information are answered in a timely manner.

Evaluate and mitigate risks to project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

Act as primary contact with the customer.

Work overtime and maintain regular, punctual attendance as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.

Minimum of 7 years of experience with industrial project management.

Must be familiar with Construction Safety and OSHA requirements.

Must be detail oriented and demonstrate experience and knowledge of Project Management Best Practices.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and P6 (or similar scheduling software).

Physical Demands

Overtime required to meet deadlines.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally.

Requires long periods of sitting.

Must be able to travel to off-site jobs.
