Job Overview
The Sr. Supply Chain Planning Manager at T-Mobile is responsible for synchronizing procurement plans with demand forecasts, ensuring inventory levels across all locations are optimized to meet corporate objectives. The role oversees significant annual spend in Device and/or Network sectors, spearheads requisition processes, secures executive approvals, and leads weekly cross‑functional meetings to address exceptions and mitigate supply disruptions. The manager develops strategies to tackle supply chain or OEM-related challenges, enhances IPP team performance metrics, and contributes to overall operational efficiency.

Location: Coppell, TX – requires onsite presence five days a week; remote work not available.

Base Pay Range: $102,900 – $139,200.
Salary based on location, qualifications, and experience.

Job Responsibilities

Align buy plans with current demand forecasts to optimize inventory levels across all locations and align with corporate goals.

Oversee annual spend in Device and/or Network sectors, spearhead requisition processes and secure executive approvals.

Lead weekly cross‑functional meetings to address exceptions, mitigate supply disruptions, and promote alignment across product lines.

Develop strategies to address supply chain or OEM‑related challenges.

Enhance the performance metrics of the IPP team.

Contribute to the operational efficiency and goal achievement through strategic supply chain management.

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience. (Required)

Acceptable areas of study: Supply Chain, Business, or Economics. (Required)

Master’s/Advanced Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. (Preferred)

4‑7 years of experience in supply chain planning and inventory management in the telecommunications sector. (Required)

4‑7 years of experience in leading cross‑functional teams to address supply chain disruptions and align product lines. (Required)

4‑7 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic supply chain management solutions. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strategic Planning – Ability to develop and implement long‑term strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and meet organizational goals. (Required)

Supply Chain – Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes. (Required)

Leadership – Proven leadership skills, ability to lead and direct a team, fostering a collaborative environment. (Preferred)

Problem Solving – Strong skills to address and resolve operational challenges effectively. (Required)

Analytics – Proficiency in analytical tools and methodologies to evaluate supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities. (Required)

Cross‑Functional Relationships – Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain strategies. (Required)

Microsoft Excel – Advanced proficiency for data analysis and reporting. (Required)

Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. (Required)

Change Management – Experience in managing change to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes. (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS. (Preferred)

Six Sigma – Champion Leadership Certification. (Preferred)

Supply Chain Management (CPIM) Certified in Production and Inventory Management. (Preferred)

Additional Requirements

At least 18 years of age.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Travel is not required.
