Position Summary
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Materials Management and Transportation Manager to join the Fulfillment team in Everett, WA. This role will lead and integrate activities across materials management and transportation to support customer service operations.

Work Hours and Shifts
Variable shift: 1st shift Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.; 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m.–10 p.m. The selected candidate must be willing and able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, and be prepared for both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
Responsibilities
Manages and integrates employee activities across materials management and transportation.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Maintains a mindset of safety and quality, influencing the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading or managing projects involving cross-functional or cross‑business-unit teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Motivated self‑starter who can work independently and collaborates effectively with stakeholders such as sales, success, product management, and senior leaders.
Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, as required by mission needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree.
5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
3+ years leading critical projects.
5+ years of experience with supply chain, supplier management, and/or procurement practices and processes.
Experience in materials planning or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of safety and quality processes.
Aerospace or manufacturing experience.
5+ years of experience in a strategic planning and risk identification role.
Demonstrated ability to create shared vision and translate it into strategic implementation.
Proven capacity to handle complex and ambiguous situations and communicate information clearly.
Experience expediting products through a production system to meet emergent customer demand.
