Project Manager (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: Edinburgh/Hybrid (Role can be fulfilled primarily remotely)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates
Role Profile
To lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and effectively. The Project Manager will coordinate internal resources, develop and manage project plan, manage project risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful delivery.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to Programme Manager, and where necessary other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
Skills & Experience
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial Services or a related field.
Extensive experience in project management or a similar role.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
