Our client in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects from initiation through completion. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end project execution, from initiation through closeout
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines
Coordinate cross‑functional teams including operations, IT, supply chain, legal, corporate communications, and other stakeholders
Track project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and delays
Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives
Manage vendor relationships and external partners, when applicable
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
5+ years of project management or project coordination experience (non‑IT)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Lucidchart, or similar, and exposure to Microsoft Copilot
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Operations, or a related field
Experience working with utilities and/or customer service teams
Familiarity with contract development
PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (preferred, not required)
MPM, MBA, or related master’s degree (preferred, not required)
