Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a

Project Controls Manager

to join our team in the Denver, CO area. This position manages planning, scheduling, cost estimates, cost analysis and reporting on construction/maintenance or turnaround projects. Non exempt role; Reports to the Project Controls Director and/or Project Manager; Establishes procedures for specific goals in a broad area of work / only results are reviewed / develops procedures within limits of policy and guidelines.

Functional Requirements
Will be expected to adapt to company standard operating procedures in Project Controls using company's applications; produce job estimates and plans, CPM based schedules, performance reports and graphs and analysis of the same; breakdown estimates information into company code of accounts and create budgets; capture actual or accrued cost information both internal and external to TIL; analyze, trend, forecast and report on the same; interface with site supervision and superintendent, owner/client, and home office contacts on matters relating to project scope, schedule, progress and performance; in addition to the above responsibilities, this person will also be responsible for assisting in training upcoming Project Controls Analysts in a "Boot-Camp" which will be scheduled on an as-needed basis; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience

Ten (10) years of experience in overall industry

Advanced computing skills with a working knowledge of Google Workspace

Expert working knowledge of Primavera 6.0/ 8.3 Project Manager

Must have experience in creation of project budgets, cost reporting, cost tracking, trending and forecasting

Working knowledge of JD Edwards business management software or equivalent software

Comprehension of all types of engineering drawings and written specifications

Advanced working knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques and earned value functionality

Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy

Comply with company and client job site safety requirements

Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing /data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment.
