Design Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Design Engineer to support ongoing engineering efforts across new product development, sustaining engineering, and field support for downhole tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance downhole oil & gas tools (completions, fishing, and intelligent completion systems)
• Create and maintain SolidWorks models and engineering drawings
• Lead projects from concept through testing, validation, and release
• Develop and execute test plans; troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues
• Maintain engineering documentation and support field performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, operations, and field teams to deliver reliable, field-ready products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related field)
• 3+ years of engineering experience preferred
• Experience in oil & gas or downhole tool design strongly preferred
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical design best practices
• Strong skills in testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication abilities
