Inventory Specialist (Hybrid – NYC)
Employment:
1 year, Temp-to-Perm, Full-Time (40 hours/week, 1-year term)
Location:
3 days onsite at NYC office (hybrid schedule)
Pay:
$38.00/hr
Join our Store Development team as a Material Planning Inventory Specialist! In this key, temp-to-perm role, you’ll help ensure the right materials are always available, optimize inventory levels, and prevent shortages or overstock. You'll work closely with procurement, operations, finance, and suppliers to manage supply continuity and cost efficiency using advanced Excel skills and ERP systems like SAP.
What You’ll Do
Maintain material requirement plans and manage timely replenishment
Monitor inventory to avoid shortages, overstock, and obsolete materials
Analyze and optimize safety stock, reorder points, and lead times
Collaborate with procurement and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply risks
Track supplier performance and organize last-mile deliveries
Support physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and master data accuracy
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
3+ years experience in material planning or inventory management
Strong Excel skills (pivots, advanced formulas, data modeling)
Experience with SAP MM/PP or similar ERP/MRP systems
Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communicator
Able to work onsite in NYC three days/week
