WildChina is seeking a dynamic

Operations Manager

to lead our Indian market growth strategy — where every day is a blend of strategic conquests, cultural immersion, and boundary‑pushing creativity. This is a foundational role for a passionate and detail‑oriented operations professional. You will be the operational engine for our Indian business, responsible for turning travel dreams into flawless realities for our discerning Indian clientele. You will work at the intersection of logistics, vendor management, customer service, and technology, ensuring that every WildChina journey to China and beyond is seamless, authentic, and unforgettable.

Location: Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Huizhou or Hong Kong

Position Type: Full‑time

Salary: Subject to experience

Key Responsibilities
Product & Itinerary Coordination

Customize and adapt WildChina’s global portfolio of itineraries to suit the specific preferences, travel styles, and cultural nuances of the Indian traveler (e.g., dietary needs, festival interests, family travel dynamics).

Liaise with the product team to develop new, unique experiences that will resonate with the Indian market.

Meticulously cost all itineraries, ensuring competitive pricing and healthy margin management.

Vendor & Partner Management

Develop, negotiate with, and manage a reliable network of local ground handlers, hotels, transport providers, and expert guides in China.

Conduct regular quality audits and performance reviews of all partners to ensure they meet WildChina’s stringent standards of service, safety, and sustainability.

Be the primary point of contact for all overseas partners for bookings originating from India.

Trip Logistics & Execution

Own the end‑to‑end operational execution of all bookings from the Indian market.

Manage all logistical elements: flight bookings (working with preferred agents), hotel reservations, ground transportation, activity bookings, and special requests.

Prepare and deliver detailed final travel documents (itineraries, vouchers, contact lists, etc.) to clients.

Coordinate with guides to provide client backgrounds and ensure personalized service.

On‑Trip Support & Crisis Management

Implement and execute crisis management protocols effectively, ensuring client safety and satisfaction.

Proactively monitor trips in progress to anticipate and resolve potential issues before they impact the client experience.

Systems & Process Improvement

Master and utilize WildChina’s internal operational and CRM systems.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the client experience for the Indian market.

Manage operational budgets and ensure cost‑effective service delivery.

Ideal Candidate

Fluency in English, with persuasive writing and pitching skills.

In‑depth knowledge and understanding of China.

Proven track record of managing complex travel logistics for high‑end clients.

Extensive knowledge of and established vendor network in China.

A "no‑excuses" attitude, emotional intelligence, and a hunger to learn quickly.

Passion for destination storytelling and eco‑friendly travel.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and basic design programs (Canva and adjacent).
