Pediatrics opening in Urbana, OHLocation: Bellefontaine, OH - Dayton 45m, Columbus 50mFull-time; PermanentEmployedOverview: Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic + inpatient newborn rounding Four-day work week Outpatient clinic coverage Newborn rounding and hospital responsibilities includedCall: Call Ratio: 1:4 Call Response Time: 20 minutes (must be within 20 minutes of hospital) Call includes: Newborn rounding, Attending C-sections and Practice and hospital coverage Clinical Details: Hospital-employed pediatric practice Practice includes: 4 physicians, 2 full-time CNPs, 2 part-time CNPs, 1 part-time behavioral health CNP and a Lactation consultant Level I nursery 400 births annually Sole pediatric practice within 20+ mile radius Newborn transfers to regional children's hospitals as needed Collaborative, community-focused environment Skills Required: General outpatient pediatrics Newborn rounding Attending C-sections Pediatric patient management Preventive and acute pediatric care Requirements: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Pediatrics (within 5 years, actively pursuing certification) Active Ohio license or willing to obtain DEA, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willing to obtain) NPDB Self-Query within 30 days of presentation Must meet 20-minute response time for call Must be willing to perform newborn rounding and attend C-sections Visa candidates not accepted About the Area:Bellefontaine, OH, with a population of around 14,000 residents, is a welcoming and historic community located in Logan County in west-central Ohio.
