Physician - Urology

Job Details:

Provide 24-hour call coverage for urology services at Level 1 trauma center

Work various scheduling blocks including multi-day coverage periods

Handle 2-6 hours of callback per day

Treat adult patients (18+) with exception of emergency torsion cases during call

Perform mix of cystoscopy/stent procedures with office visits, typically 24-28 patients per day

Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system

Access to 16 operating rooms across multiple locations

Supervise new advanced practice providers

Perform core procedures including vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and orchiopexy

Robotic surgery capabilities available

Scope procedures available if part of practice background

Support staff includes 4 medical assistants, 1 certified surgical assistant, and 1 registered nurse

Board certification or board eligibility in urology required

Minimum 1 year of experience required

DEA registration required
