Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

See approximately 20 patients per shift in a 192-bed hospital setting

Locums-to-permanent position opportunity available

Board certification eligible minimum requirement

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Level 4 trauma facility

Fellowship training required (3 years)

Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders required

Injection of varices and ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) capabilities required

PEG tube placement preferred

Small bowel biopsy and liver biopsy procedures required

Lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy required

Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision capabilities required

Position available immediately with ongoing need
